Account Manager

The Red Ginger, Colva is looking for an experienced and responsible Account Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations of the restaurant.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare and review invoices, bills, payments, receipts and related documentation.
• Manage GST, TDS and other statutory taxation requirements.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and internal departments regarding financial transactions.
• Review purchase bills, expenses and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Assist with monthly closing, financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash, bank transactions and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, cost control and expense monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with the Finance team and management for smooth financial operations.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts, preferably in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
• Candidates currently working at Executive, Senior Executive or Assistant Manager level will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS and taxation.
• Knowledge of Purchase and Stores processes will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Candidates based in Goa or willing to relocate will be preferred.
