Saige Partners is seeking an experienced Account Manager – Flexible Packaging for a remote opportunity with a leading organization in the sustainable packaging industry.

This position is responsible for managing and growing a large strategic customer relationship within the flexible packaging division. The Account Manager will work closely with stakeholders across commercial, technical, operations, marketing, and supply chain functions while leading internal cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and profitable growth.

IMPORTANT: Direct flexible packaging industry experience is REQUIRED. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationship activities for a large strategic customer account.
• Protect and grow existing business while identifying new revenue opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with customer stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on profitable growth.
• Lead and influence multiple cross-functional teams.
• Support project development and manage complex commercialization opportunities and transitions.
• Lead and manage negotiations within large, complex accounts.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer business needs, strategies, markets, and competitive landscape.
• Identify opportunities within existing capabilities as well as potential new solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of sustainable flexible packaging trends and market developments.
• Maintain compliance with corporate business conduct standards and applicable federal antitrust laws.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Direct flexible packaging industry experience – REQUIRED
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex customer accounts.
• Proven experience leading and managing complex negotiations.
• Strong relationship-development and account-management skills.
• Ability to lead and influence multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, creativity, and agility.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• Must be located within the Central or Eastern time zone.
• Midwest/Chicago or Northeast candidates are preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support.

Compensation

Base Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Signing bonus may be negotiable.

Interview Process
