The Role

We’re looking for a Los Angeles–based Account Manager to manage business leads, build strong client relationships, and coordinate projects from initial inquiry through delivery.

You’ll be the primary point of contact for your accounts, helping clients define their needs, selecting the right solutions, preparing proposals, and moving projects forward. Working closely with Business Development, design, production, and operations, you’ll ensure each project has a clear scope, realistic timeline, and consistent communication.

This role combines sales conversion, relationship management, and project coordination. It’s well suited to someone who is commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage inbound inquiries and qualified opportunities introduced by Business Development, providing timely follow-up and clear next steps.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand client goals, specifications, budgets, and event deadlines.
  • Recommend suitable products and services, prepare quotes and proposals, and convert leads into confirmed projects.
  • Own day-to-day client communication, keeping clients informed from initial planning through delivery.
  • Translate client requirements into clear internal briefs, including scope, deliverables, budgets, timelines, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with design, production, and operations to keep projects moving and ensure teams have the information they need.
  • Track artwork approvals, order details, production milestones, and delivery requirements.
  • Manage scope changes, communicate pricing or timeline implications, and obtain client approval before proceeding.
  • Identify and resolve project issues early, escalating risks when needed.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, project updates, and account forecasts.
  • Follow up after delivery, address feedback, and identify opportunities for repeat business and account growth.
  • Work toward agreed revenue, retention, and client service targets while protecting project margins.

What You’ll Bring

  • Three or more years of experience in account management, client services, sales coordination, or a related role.
  • Experience managing client projects from inquiry or brief through completion.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Clear, responsive communication and confidence setting client expectations.
  • Commercial judgment, including comfort preparing quotes, discussing budgets, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • A practical approach to problem-solving and coordinating across teams.
  • Experience using CRM and project management tools.
  • A Los Angeles base and availability for local client meetings and relevant project requirements.

Experience in events, experiential marketing, trade shows, print, branded environments, or custom production is a need.

What Success Looks Like

Leads receive prompt, thoughtful follow-up and convert into well-scoped projects. Clients feel informed and supported, internal teams receive clear direction, and projects meet agreed requirements and deadlines. Your accounts return for future work and grow over time.

Compensation

The annual base salary range is $80,000–$115,000 USD , based on relevant experience and qualifications.

This role will also include a commission component, with the structure and terms finalized and documented at the 90-day mark .
