JOB DETAILS

• This role sits within an established commercial print business, managing existing client relationships and overseeing print projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
• The focus is on providing clients with technical advice on print specifications, materials, processes and finishes while ensuring projects are delivered accurately and on time.
• You will act as the main point of contact for allocated accounts, working closely with internal production, estimating and artwork teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous print account management experience who understands the technical side of commercial printing.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain existing client accounts
• Handle client enquiries, briefs and ongoing print projects
• Prepare quotations, estimates and pricing for print jobs
• Advise clients on paper stocks, inks, finishes and printing methods
• Coordinate projects from initial brief through artwork, production and delivery
• Liaise with production, estimating, artwork and other internal departments
• Ensure print specifications and customer requirements are communicated accurately
• Monitor project progress and keep clients updated throughout
• Resolve any production or delivery issues efficiently
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a Print Account Manager or similar client-facing role
• Strong knowledge of commercial print production
• Understanding of lithographic and digital printing processes
• Ability to advise clients on paper stocks, inks, finishes and print specifications
• Experience preparing quotations and managing print projects
• Confident communicating with clients and internal production teams
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

QUALIFICATIONS / ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Background in commercial print or print production
• Experience working with artwork, estimating and production departments
• Understanding of print materials and finishing techniques
• Experience managing established customer accounts
• Familiarity with print management or MIS systems desirable
• Strong problem-solving ability and a customer-focused approach
