ACCOUNT PAYABLE (AP)

About the role

The Cool Indonesia is looking for a fast, detail-oriented, and responsible Account Payable (AP) to join our Finance & Accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices, bills, and payment requests accurately and on time
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting documents before payment processing
• Record and reconcile Accounts Payable transactions
• Monitor vendor balances, payment schedules, and outstanding invoices
• Prepare payment requests and coordinate with internal departments and vendors
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded in accordance with accounting standards and company procedures
• Handle and assist with tax-related matters, including withholding tax and VAT documentation
• Support monthly closing and reconciliation activities
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting and tax documents
• Identify discrepancies or errors and resolve them promptly

About you

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Account Payable / Accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting and Indonesian taxation
• Familiar with VAT, withholding tax (PPh 21/23/4(2)), and tax invoices
• Fast worker and able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented and highly accurate, especially when handling numbers and documents
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage
• Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently
• Good communication and coordination skills
