Account Solution Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Account Solution Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This remote role will partner closely with education customers to shape technology solutions that support institutional goals and improve student lifecycle outcomes. The position will lead technical discovery, align solutions to business needs, and help guide the sales process from initial conversations through close. It also requires collaboration with account teams and partners to communicate value clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle from discovery to close
• Engage with education institutions to understand their challenges and goals
• Articulate how solutions align with institutional initiatives
• Translate education processes into impactful technology solutions
• Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs, demonstrating value
• Collaborate with account teams and partners to align solutions with needs
• Continuously build expertise in education and technology trends

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS
• 7+ years of experience with CRM solutions focused on education
• 5+ years in solution engineering, consulting, or enterprise software delivery
• Certifications in AI/Data concepts preferred, ideally in CRM-related technologies
• Deep understanding of education operations and student lifecycle management
• Strong technical skills in configuring CRM or similar platforms
• Exceptional communication skills to translate technical concepts for various stakeholders
