Account/Admin Intern

About the role

This internship provides hands-on exposure to basic accounting, documentation, data entry, filing, and general office administration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and administrative tasks
• Perform data entry and update accounting records
• Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, payment records and supporting documents
• Organize and maintain proper filing of accounting and administrative documents
• Assist in checking and recording expenses and transactions
• Support preparation of basic reports and documentation
• Handle general office administrative duties
• Assist the Finance/Admin team with other tasks when required

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Good attention to detail and willing to learn
• Responsible, organized and able to follow instructions
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage, as the role may involve handling documents and communicating with Mandarin-speaking colleagues
