As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant / Accounts Executive to join our Singapore team.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting records for Singapore companies.
• Prepare Financial Statements in accordance with applicable Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Handle Singapore corporate tax matters, including preparation of tax computations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with GST preparation, filing and related compliance matters.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist with year-end closing and audit preparation.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents and relevant authorities when required.
• Ensure accounting records and financial information are accurate, complete and maintained in a timely manner.
• Support other accounting and corporate compliance matters as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Approximately 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in Singapore.
• Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Practical knowledge of Singapore Corporate Tax and GST.
• Experience in preparing Singapore company Financial Statements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese / native-level Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients.
• Good English reading and writing skills. Strong English communication skills will be an advantage.
• Experience in an accounting firm, corporate services firm or professional services environment will be an advantage.
