Accountant & Administration

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.

• Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments accurately.

• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and maintain proper records.

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash and bank records.

• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.

• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.

• Coordinate with the management, customers, suppliers, and auditors whenever required.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.

• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.

• Perform other accounts-related duties assigned by management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.

• 13 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/Tally.

• Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and basic taxation.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Candidates with experience in a trading/manufacturing company will be preferred.
