Accountant (AP)

Responsibilities:

• Verify and process supplier invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Prepare payment vouchers and coordinate cheque/bank transfer payments to vendors.
• Record and reconcile accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
• Review AP aging and follow up with internal departments to ensure timely payment approvals.
• Prepare monthly reports for Input VAT and Withholding Tax.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and payment inquiries.
• Perform bank and general ledger (G/L) reconciliations related to AP transactions.
• Maintain organized filing of invoices, payment records, and supporting documents for audit purposes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Prior experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting is a plus (junior/entry-level candidates welcome).
• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and time management skills.
