Accountant

About the role

Ocean Fresh Seafood Products Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team on a full-time basis in Kuantan, Pahang. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization by managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with relevance accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and contribute to tax preparation activities,
  • Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow.
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.
  • Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.
  • Support the audit process by preparing required documentation and schedule.
  • Examining financial records to check for accuracy.
  • Handle full set of accounts and statutory reports independently with minimal supervision.

  Qualification:

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • ability to work in fast paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Full set accounts and finance operation experience is required
  • good communication skills
  • strong understanding of tax regulations
