Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company's accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent computer skills, and experience handling day-to-day financial activities in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
• Perform daily accounting transactions using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Prepare and maintain Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and send Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers.
• Communicate professionally with customers and vendors through email.
• Prepare employee salary statements and coordinate payroll-related records.
• Maintain accounting reports and MIS using Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare accounting documents, letters, and reports using Microsoft Word.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders whenever required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. M.Com or professional accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company.

• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting).

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word.

• Sound knowledge of:

• Bank Reconciliation

• Accounts Payable

• Accounts Receivable

• Purchase Order processing

• Payroll and salary statement preparation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
