Duties

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial statements and reports using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
• Manage accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and ensuring timely disbursements.
• Oversee financial accounting activities including journal entries, ledger reconciliation, and month-end closing procedures.
• Support financial management initiatives by monitoring budgets, forecasting cash flow, and assisting with financial analysis.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing best practices in accounting procedures and fostering professional development.
• Collaborate across departments to improve financial workflows and implement new accounting software solutions as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft.
• Strong understanding of financial services industry standards and practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including accounts payable and general ledger activities.
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or training team members is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification such as CPA is a plus.

Pay: £58,420.00-£59,243.37 per year
