Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to record transactions and generate reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
• Support financial management efforts by monitoring budgets, tracking expenses, and providing insights for cost control.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing best practices in accounting procedures and software utilization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and improve overall financial operations.

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or equivalent platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial services industry practices and regulations.
• Experience with financial accounting processes including ledger management, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and vendor management.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with financial management tools and systems used for budgeting and expense tracking.

Pay: £57,420.00-£59,243.37 per year
