Accountant

1. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for multiple clients.
2. Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
4. Perform bank, supplier, customer, and other account reconciliations.
5. Prepare and review VAT calculations, VAT returns, and supporting schedules.
6. Assist with UAE Corporate Tax computations, returns, and related documentation.
7. Support year-end closing and preparation of schedules required for audit.
8. Coordinate with clients to obtain accounting records, invoices, bank statements, and other supporting documents.
9. Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend appropriate adjustments or corrective actions.
10. Ensure client accounts are maintained accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards and UAE requirements.
11. Monitor deadlines for VAT, Corporate Tax, financial reporting, and other client deliverables.
12. Liaise with auditors, clients, and relevant stakeholders when required.
13. Maintain confidentiality of client financial and business information.
14. Provide accounting and financial guidance to clients where appropriate.
15. Perform other accounting and advisory tasks assigned by Management.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for an Accountant to join our growing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should possess solid accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently.

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within an accounting, audit, or professional services firm.
3. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
4. Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is highly preferred.
5. Experience handling accounts for multiple clients will be an advantage.
6. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
8. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to communicate professionally with clients and manage client requirements independently.
11. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional responsibility.
