About the Company

We are a Malaysia-based Film Distribution & Production Company with long-term collaborations across international markets, including established working relationships with production teams and business partners in China.

Our day-to-day operations involve working closely with partners from different countries and communicating across multiple languages. As such, proficiency in Chinese, English, and Malay would be an advantage, particularly when communicating and coordinating with our overseas partners and production teams.

You will be responsible for managing the company's full set of accounts, ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance, and supporting management with timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Monitor inventory transactions and maintain accurate accounting treatment.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, SST, taxation, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and government authorities.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Support process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Handle ad hoc accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
