Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s accounting activities across both construction management and food distribution businesses. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, is familiar with international accounting standards, and can manage financial records accurately and independently.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate and timely financial transactions.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and annual journals and financial records.
• Manage and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and intercompany transactions.
• Monitor and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Monitor company cash flow and financial activities.
• Assist with monthly and annual closing processes.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Changes in Equity.
• Ensure transactions from different business units are properly recorded and reported.
• Reconcile sales and operational transactions with system/POS data where applicable.
• Assist with tax reporting and administration.
• Prepare financial documents required for internal and external audits.
• Support stock opname and financial checks when required.
• Ensure accounting practices comply with applicable standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting or a similar position.

• Familiar with international accounting standards and financial reporting.

• Strong understanding of AP, AR, General Ledger, reconciliation, and financial closing.

• Experience handling accounting for multiple business units or industries is preferred.

• Experience in construction management and/or food distribution is a strong advantage.

• Good understanding of taxation and accounting administration.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
