Accountant

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Accountant with strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and Tally to manage the day-to-day accounting activities of the company.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, be detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of independently handling routine accounting and bookkeeping work.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Record and maintain accounts using Tally.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, vouchers, and reconciliations.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and other account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and maintain proper records.
• Verify invoices, receipts, payments, and supporting documents.
• Prepare basic financial reports and accounting summaries for management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Ensure accounting entries are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Assist with VAT-related accounting and documentation as required.
• Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, customers, and other parties regarding accounting matters when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong practical knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting.
• Thorough hands-on experience with Tally is essential.
• Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, ledgers, journals, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliation.
• Previous experience working independently in an accounting role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify and correct accounting discrepancies.
• Good English communication skills.
• Honest, reliable, organized, and responsible.
• Minimum 1 year Accounting experience in the UAE.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT will be an advantage.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
