The Role

We’re seeking an Accountant to join the APAC Corporate team. This busy, hands-on role will be a key part of the regional Finance team and offers a range of responsibilities including managing the day-to-day financial operations, month end accounting and compliance. Responsibilities:

• Maintain the General Ledger Accounts

• Manage Fixed Asset/Prepayment/Expense Accrual schedules

• Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Reconcile COGS accrual and bills on a monthly basis

• Manage month end closing and statutory financial reporting accurately to meet reporting deadlines

• Review and analysis of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts

• Preparation and lodgement of payroll tax and BAS/IAS/GST/VAT

• Assist with consolidating quarter/half year/year end accounts and prepare papers for the S4 group

• Assist with financial analysis

• Liaise with the external tax advisory for any withholding tax (GST/CIT) implications in the existing and new markets

• Assist with statutory tax lodgement

• Assist with the Global and local statutory audit

• Maintain and improve process and internal controls, following up the mitigating action of internal control weaknesses

• Work with the external bookkeepers/vendors

• Assist with ad hoc tasks and any other activities directed by Management

What you bring to it:

• Bachelors in Finance/Accounting or related fields
• 3+ years accounting experience, 1+ years post qualification experience with a similar role
• APAC experience preferred
• CPA preferred
• Year-end reporting and audit experience
• Month-end experience involving complex accounting treatments
• Proven experience in consolidation to International Group Company financial reporting
• Experience in AdTech or technology startups preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments
• Ability to multi-task with attention to details and minimal supervision
