Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Accountant to handle end-to-end accounting, tax compliance, inventory management, and day-to-day administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally, thoroughly knowledgeable in GST and TDS compliance, and capable of overseeing warehouse stock movements and basic facility administration.
Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Maintain accurate daily accounting records, journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers using Tally (Prime / ERP 9).
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), following up on outstanding client invoices and supplier payments.
• Perform routine bank reconciliations and manage petty cash accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing, preparing basic P&L statements and balance sheets.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance (GST & TDS)

• GST: Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconcile GSTR-2B with books, and generate E-Way bills for dispatch.
• TDS: Calculate, deduct, and deposit monthly TDS; file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q / 26Q); and issue Form 16 / 16A certificates.
• Stay updated on changing tax regulations to ensure 100% statutory compliance and timely filings without penalties.

3. Stock & Inventory Control

• Record inward and outward inventory transactions accurately in Tally.
• Track raw materials/finished goods, minimum order levels, and safety stock.
• Conduct periodic physical stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with ledger balances, investigating any discrepancies.
• Manage stock transfer documentation across locations or departments.

4. Warehouse Oversight

• Supervise daily warehouse loading, unloading, receiving, and dispatch operations.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, couriers, and transport vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Verify incoming shipments against Purchase Orders (POs) and inspect for damage or shortages.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse storage spaces.

5. General Office Administration

• Oversee routine office operations, maintenance, utility bills, and vendor management.
• Maintain organized filing systems for tax records, invoices, contracts, and administrative documentation.
• Assist management with operational reporting, procurement of office supplies, and team administrative support.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, tax filing, and inventory management.
• Software Proficiency:
• Advanced working knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP 9.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) and MS Office.
• Hands-on experience with the Government GST Portal and TRACES (TDS Portal).
• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST acts, TDS slabs, and inventory valuation methods.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, good verbal/written communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹8,602.25 - ₹41,731.70 per month
