Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant with practical experience in project accounting, preferably within an interior fit-out, renovation, construction, or contracting company. The ideal candidate should understand how to track project costs, supplier payments, client collections, and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and transactions.
• Handle project-wise accounting and cost tracking.
• Monitor project budgets, actual expenses, material costs, labour costs, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare project-wise profit and loss statements and cost reports.
• Record and monitor supplier invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Prepare client invoices and follow up on receivables.
• Monitor project payment schedules and outstanding client payments.
• Maintain petty cash and expense records.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
• Coordinate with the project and procurement teams regarding material purchases and project expenses.
• Maintain proper documentation for invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and payment records.
• Assist with VAT-related accounting and documentation.
• Prepare regular financial and management reports.
• Identify discrepancies, unnecessary expenses, and cost overruns in projects.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
