Accountant

We are looking for a Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, inventory accounting, credit notes, costing, and ERP/SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices, AP invoices, credit notes, and related accounting entries.
• Perform bank, credit card, supplier, customer, freight, inventory, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Handle GRNI, stock in transit, stock returns, purchase returns, and sales returns accounting.
• Maintain and verify landed cost and pricing data in ERP systems.
• Monitor AP ageing and follow up on outstanding items.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and clearance of open accounting transactions.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, Procurement, and Finance teams.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of AP, GL accounting, reconciliations, inventory, and costing.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• CMA candidates / CMA-qualified professionals are preferred.
• UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
