Accountant

Bookkeeping & Accounting

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts
• Record day-to-day accounting entries including journal entries, vouchers, and ledgers
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reports
• Monitor expenses and ensure cost control

Reconciliations

• Bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
• Reconciliation of vendor, customer, and inter-company accounts
• Fixed asset accounting and depreciation

Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST compliance including returns, reconciliations, and audits
• TDS calculation, deduction, and filing of returns
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Audit & Coordination

• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors
• Support audits by providing required data and explanations
• Liaise with banks, consultants, and authorities as required

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with Tally / MS Excel
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and communication skills
