Accountant

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the company’s accounting system to ensure accurate financial records.

• Handle monthly financial closing and reporting for subsidiaries.

• Monitor accounts receivable and carry out credit collection activities to ensure timely payments.

• Manage e-invoicing submission processes and resolve any related discrepancies or issues.

• Arrange and process payments via cheque, online transfer, telegraphic transfer (TT), and other approved methods.

• Administer monthly payroll and ensure timely submission of yearly company-related statutory filings.

• Prepare and submit SST returns in accordance with regulatory requirements and timelines.

• Prepare, issue, and reconcile debit and credit notes as required.

• Any other assignments from time to time set by the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Requirements

• MIA member qualification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience; audit experience is added advantage.
• Attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
• Able to manage deadlines and self-discipline.
• Good working knowledge of statutory act related to financial reporting.
