Accountant

About the role

This role involves managing financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations for assigned entities and business units. You will prepare financial reports in compliance with HKFRS and Listing Rules, handle full accounting operations, support budgeting and analysis, manage tax and treasury functions, and contribute to internal control improvements and finance system enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Assist in interim and annual financial reporting in compliance with HKFRS and Listing Rules
• Support statutory audit and liaise with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and other regulatory requirements
• Handle full set of accounts for assigned entities and business units
• Perform journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing
• Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules
• Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
• Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to management
• Assist in profits tax computation and tax filing

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Proficient in ERP software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, detail-minded, and able to meet tight deadlines
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Qualified or pursuing HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent is an advantage
• Experience in listed company or healthcare/medical industry is an advantage
• Experience in handling audit and financial reporting for listed companies preferred
