Summary of Position:

To support the Finance Manager with the management of the Accounts team, ensuring they are completing their work, the accuracy, and deadlines are met. To help with the training of the team and other departments as processes change or new processes are put in place.

To help the Finance Manager with various tasks and cover in his absence, liaising with Head Office when required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the delivery and accountability of account payables, account receivables and treasury function of the business.
• Ensuring ownership and management of finance KPI, controls and reporting.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Deputizing for all aspects of Finance in the absence of Accounting Manager; authorizations, and escalations to the Finance Manager.
• Overall responsibility for banking, sales and purchase ledgers and petty cash.
• Responsible for monitoring systems and making suggestions for improving working processes.
• Produce, distribute and follow-up reports for the management team.
• Ensuring consultant queries are followed up in a timely manner.
• Liaising with Procurement & Logistic Teams.
• Supporting the internal and external audit function.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Participate in training of colleagues.
• Any other request that falls within the scope of this position in Finance domain.

Qualifications / Essential Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in hospitality, aviation, travel retail, airport services, or food & beverage operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of French accounting standards, VAT regulations, financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good English communication skills. (+French – preferred)
