Accountant

For the past 20 years, Subra pharmacy chain has been providing its customers and patients with high-quality pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, medical devices, and dietary supplements through its modern pharmacies and online store.

Over the years, we have established ourselves as a fast-growing company, continuously opening new locations in some of the most prominent and accessible areas across Bulgaria.

As part of our continued business expansion, we are looking for a motivated professional to join our team as an Accountant .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities and record business transactions;
• Prepare primary and secondary accounting documents;
• Monitor, reconcile, and update balances with suppliers and customers;
• Analyze and maintain all accounting accounts;
• Prepare VAT declarations and VAT registers in compliance with Bulgarian VAT legislation;
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting reports;
• Prepare interim and annual financial statements;
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in annual stock-taking procedures;
• Process supplier invoices in accordance with applicable accounting and tax regulations;
• Take full responsibility for the timely execution of daily accounting operations and processes.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Accounting and Control, Finance, or a related field;
• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in an accounting position;
• Excellent computer literacy, including MS Office and accounting software;
• Good knowledge and practical application of Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation;
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, strong analytical skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
