Accountant

What You'll be doing:

• Be proactive and a member of the accounting team, ensuring that daily accounting operations are executed efficiently and accurately.
• Manage the day-to-day processing of invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform month-end closing activities and prepare accurate and timely financial statements, monthly reports with variance analysis and commentary.
• Collaborate with management to develop and update financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in corporate secretarial tasks, including maintaining statutory records, filing annual reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate financial audits, working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
• Assist in ad-hoc assignments.

Who we are looking for:

• Diploma holder or above in Accountancy or related disciplines.
• Qualified Accountant (HKICPA or equivalent qualification) is preferable but not a must.
• Minimum 5 years relevant accounting experience, with strong knowledge in accounting procedures, audit, taxation, and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-minded, and able to work independently.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
