What they need
- Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification. A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Minimum five years of relevant accounting experience.
- Able to work independently, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of Malaysia’s Companies Act, Income Tax Act, MPERS, Sales and Service Tax Act and other relevant Malaysian laws and regulations.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports for submission by the 12th day of the following month.
- Prepare financial performance analyses and key performance indicator reports, and highlight areas requiring management attention.
- Prepare and monitor the annual profit and loss, capital expenditure and cash flow budgets.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department; support transfer pricing documentation; and guide subordinate Finance & Accounts staff.
