Job Profile

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance department in meeting organizational goals. This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

General Manager – Operations

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Transactions

• Record and process all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Verify invoices, payments, and expense claims for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and issue invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments.

2. Reconciliation and Reporting

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions in accounting software or systems.

3. Compliance and Audits

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior management.
• Monitor expenditures and suggest cost-saving measures.

5. Communication and Coordination

• Liaise with vendors, customers, and banks to resolve account-related issues.
• Coordinate with other departments for financial data and reporting requirements.

6. Process Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting functions.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and financial regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification such as CA Inter, CPA, or equivalent is a plus.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or a related role.

Key Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Accuracy and timeliness of financial records and reports.

· Efficiency in processing accounts payable and receivable.
