Position: Accountant

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Work Mode: Work from Office

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Experience: 2–5 years preferred

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, and related documentation. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with BUSY Accounting Software.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.

* Handle sales, purchase, payment, receipt and journal entries.

* Manage invoices, bills and other accounting documents.

* Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

* Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.

* Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.

* Handle GST-related accounting and documentation.

* Ensure accurate and timely data entry in BUSY Software.

* Coordinate with internal teams regarding finance and accounting requirements.

* Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

* 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.

* Hands-on experience with BUSY Accounting Software is required.

* Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting processes.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Ability to manage work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
