Accountant

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to independently manage the complete accounting function for our distribution business. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end accounts from regular entries to GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and finalization of books with minimal supervision.

Preferred candidate profile

• Handle day-to-day banking transactions, payments and receipts
• Perform bank reconciliation on a regular basis
• Manage petty cash and cash flow tracking
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
• Handle TDS deduction, payment, and quarterly return filing
• Ensure timely compliance with other statutory requirements (PF/ESI if applicable)
• Coordinate with auditors/CA for assessments and filings
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on collections
• Manage accounts payable and vendor payment schedules
• Track outstanding dues and aging reports
• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally/ERP or similar software
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and MIS reports
• Assist in finalization of accounts and year-end closing
• Support internal and statutory audits with required documentation
