Accountant

About the role

This is a senior accounting role responsible for managing financial statements, general ledger processes, and financial operations to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage general ledger, month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial forecasting
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure smooth audit and tax filing processes
• Optimize financial workflows to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role
• Solid knowledge of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) as well as tax regulations
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset
• Valid Hong Kong work permit required
• US GAAP and UK GAAP knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, AICPA or equivalent is preferred
• Experience in multinational corporations is a plus
