Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at Nafu (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Bangkok. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reporting. This is a full-time position located in our Bangkok office.

Key Accountability

Month-End & Year-End Financial Closing

• To perform month-end and year-end financial closures, ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounts.
• To prepare P&L statements, reconciled balance sheet accounts, and generated monthly management and product pricing reports.

Tax Compliance & Statutory Reporting

• To manage and submit corporate tax filings (PND 50, PND 51, PND 54, PP 36, and PT 40) in full compliance with the Revenue Department.
• To handle withholding tax (WHT) provisions and ensure alignment with local Thai tax laws and company regulations.

AP/AR Management & Financial Control

• Managed end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, including debtor aging analysis and collection tracking.
• Verified trade spending, monitored monthly operating expenses, and performed budget vs. actual analyses to maintain financial control.

Other

• To coordinate with government departments and agencies. For example, Social Security Office (SSO) and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in an accounting firm or as a corporate accountant.
• Prior experience in the PCB (ENIG) industry or related manufacturing sector is an advantage.
• Proven track record in managing payment controls, accrued expenses, and withholding tax (WHT) provisions.
• Solid background in account reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, and financial analysis.
• Comprehensive experience in corporate tax management, including income tax, tax refunds, and year-end statutory filings.
• Practical understanding of fixed asset management or treasury operations.

Other Qualification

• Experience to use Microsoft Office suite with high adaptability to client systems platforms.
• Familiarity with audit firm mindsets and procedures.
• Ability to travel to government departments and agencies.
• Familiarity with reviewing and analyzing full sets of financial statements.

Language

• Thai: Native
• English: Upper-Intermediate
• Mandarin: Conversational or above is an advantage.
