Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Binondo, Manila. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, monitoring financial transactions, handling accounts receivable and payable, preparing reports, and supporting the Finance Manager in daily financial and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Process and monitor daily expense reimbursements and cost control activities.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including collections and payment monitoring.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and conduct financial data analysis.
• Monitor warehouse sales and inventory transactions and generate accurate reports.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables and settlement of payables.
• Coordinate with third-party financial service providers and business partners.
• Monitor monthly expenses, cash flow, and financial records.
• Assist in maintaining accurate accounting documentation and records.
• Support the Finance Manager in day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Maintain employee attendance and related office records.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
• At least three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
