Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Accountant for a Construction Company with strong knowledge in accounting, taxation, and financial management. The candidate should be capable of handling end-to-end accounts independently and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping activities.
• Handle Accounts Finalisation, Ledger scrutiny, and Trial Balance preparation.
• Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and financial reports.
• Manage GST filing, TDS deductions, taxation, and statutory compliances.
• Handle Income Tax Return filing and support during Tax Audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Tally ERP.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and overall financial transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and management for financial reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and accounting controls for construction projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors Degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in handling construction project accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
