ACCOUNTANT

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, management accounts, general ledger, audit, and financial compliance. Experience as an Accountant in the healthcare sector will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly Management Accounts and financial reports.
• Manage General Ledger, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation and month-end closing.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
• Coordinate year-end audit, tax computation and statutory reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, fixed assets and financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review financial processes and support continuous improvement within the Finance function.
• Guide and supervise Finance team members where required.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• Membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is compulsory.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in financial statements, management reporting, budgeting and audit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and deliver within tight deadlines.
