Accountant

• Manage accurate customer invoices and ensure completeness, in compliance with company policies, procedures and ensure compliance with Thai accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Manage day-to-day operations related to accounts receivable and revenue recognition.

• Handle the billing process, including the issuance of official documents such as tax invoices and credit notes.

• Ensure VAT compliance by preparing and compiling necessary data for timely output VAT reporting and filing.

• Follow up on original Withholding Tax (WHT) certificates monthly and prepare the monthly WHT report.

• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Reconcile bank statements.

• Serving as the primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries, working to resolve issues quickly while maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Support month-end, year-end closing and consolidation activities related to Accounts Receivable

• Assisting with account auditing and internal control, specifically focusing on Accounts Receivable

• Maintain accounting records in SAP.

• Communicate and coordinate with accountants among group companies.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Must-Have Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of TFRS for NPAEs (Thai Financial Reporting Standards for Non-Publicly Accountable Entities) and Thai taxation (such as VAT, WHT)

• Familiar with Microsoft Office and/or Google documents (Sheets, Docs and Slides).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Power Query) is an advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.

• Able to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.

General Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• 3–5 years AR experience or Accounting related field (experience in an IT services company is an advantage).

• Good command of English.

• Experience with accounting software, SAP FI module is an advantage.

• Experience working in a multinational company is an advantage, preferably a Japanese company.
