Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, file, organize and maintain accurate financial and tax records/documents
2. Ensure timely submission of tax filings and compliance with regulations
3. Prepare and review financial reports, with a focus on inventory valuation, turnover, and variances.
4. Coordinate with management regarding tax requirements and deadlines
5. Assist with audits or tax inquiries when needed
6. Maintain a structured digital and/or physical filing system for tax documents

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
2. CPA certification (preferred but not required).
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, tax preparation, or related financial roles is required.
4. Strong understanding of PFRS/IFRS, PSA, and Philippine tax laws (BIR, SSS, PHIC), as well as tax regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Experience with accounting software systems is required, with proficiency in any recognised accounting platform being acceptable.
