Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (income, expenses, fees, salaries).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including student fee collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, vendors, and management for financial matters.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (Masters preferred).
• Proven experience (25 years) in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of taxation, GST, and statutory compliances.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
