Zyra Living Design is a Dubai-based interior design and fit-out company specializing in *residential and commercial interiors, turnkey fit-outs, renovation works, and custom joinery*.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible *Accountant* to manage the company's day-to-day accounting activities and support financial and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.

* Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.

* Prepare and maintain *invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and supporting documents*.

* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

* Follow up on outstanding customer payments and receivables.

* Process supplier and subcontractor invoices and maintain payment records.

* Perform regular bank, cash and ledger reconciliations.

* Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

VAT & UAE Compliance

* Assist with preparation and filing of *UAE VAT returns*.

* Maintain VAT-related records and supporting documentation.

* Ensure transactions are properly recorded in accordance with UAE accounting and VAT requirements.

* Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants or accountants when required.

* Assist with maintaining records required for corporate tax and other statutory compliance

Project & Cost Accounting

* Track project-related expenses, material purchases, subcontractor costs and other project costs.

* Maintain project-wise costing and expense records.

* Assist management in monitoring project budgets and profitability.

* Coordinate with the Estimation, Procurement and Project teams regarding purchase orders, supplier invoices and project expenses.

* Verify invoices against purchase orders, quotations and delivery documents where applicable.

General Finance & Administration

* Prepare regular financial reports and summaries for management.

* Monitor cash flow, outstanding payments and upcoming liabilities.

* Maintain petty cash and company expense records.

* Assist with payroll-related accounting and employee expense records.

* Support management with financial data and reports as required.

* Maintain confidentiality of company financial and business information.

Requirements

* *2–4 years of relevant accounting experience*, preferably in the UAE.

* Experience working with an SME, interior fit-out, construction, contracting or similar company is preferred.

* Good understanding of *UAE VAT and basic UAE accounting practices*.

* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

* Proficiency in *MS Excel*.

* Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero or similar is an advantage.

* Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and general ledger.

* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

* Good organizational and time-management skills.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

* Good communication skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with *UAE accounting experience*, particularly within interior fit-out, construction, contracting, joinery or other project-based businesses, will be preferred.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on and comfortable managing the company's day-to-day accounting requirements in a growing SME environment.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
