Accountant

BookMyPet is looking for a hands-on Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations across our marketplace and SaaS (BookMyPet PRO) businesses.

This is not just a data-entry role. We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with suppliers, and able to keep our numbers accurate and management informed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage marketplace & SaaS accounting and reconciliations
• Prepare supplier statements and process supplier payouts
• Manage vendor invoices and payments
• Maintain accurate daily QuickBooks entries
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, supplier balances, receivables and payables
• Communicate with suppliers regarding statements, payments and discrepancies
• Prepare weekly financial reports for management
• Support monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and financial statement preparation
• Follow up on outstanding payments, invoices and reconciliation issues

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on QuickBooks experience — mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Solid accounting, reconciliation and bookkeeping knowledge
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Excellent spoken and written English — mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, e-commerce or technology companies is a strong advantage
• We want someone who can own the numbers, spot discrepancies and keep our financial records continuously up to date , not simply enter transactions.
