**Role Description This is a remote, contract Accountant role supporting tech startup clients. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate, timely recording of transactions in cloud-based accounting systems. The role will also involve implementing and improving accounting processes and collaborating with fractional Controllers, CFOs and COOs to provide reliable financial data for client decision-making. ntegrity. Qualifications

• Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Proficiency with cloud-based tools QuickBooks and Google Workspace, and ideally also Ramp.
• Ability to optimize and document accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with founders, fractional Controllers, CFOs, and cross-functional teams remotely.
• Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting software/SaaS/AI startups and comfort working in an AI- and automation-enabled environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple client engagements, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.**
