Accountant

About the role

This role involves recording and maintaining all financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing comprehensive financial statements. You will conduct variance analysis, provide financial reports to support management decision-making, and ensure compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts
• Provide management with financial reports and analysis to support decision-making
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitor capital utilization
• Support cash flow planning and ensure efficient fund allocation
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounts, ledgers, and financial documents with local regulations and accounting standards
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and banks during audits and statutory reviews
• Review and reconcile accounts regularly, implementing and improving internal accounting procedures and controls

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Holder of a locally recognized accounting professional qualification
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and language skills
• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese
