Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records, including bank reconciliations, General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers
• Record daily accounting transactions, including purchases and sales
• Perform month-end closing and prepare financial reports for management
• Handle AP & AR, GL and account reconciliations
• Prepare and process payroll and CPF submissions
• Assist with GST submissions, payments and other statutory requirements
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents and relevant government authorities
• Ensure timely compliance with finance, tax and statutory filing requirements
• Support accounting process and system implementation projects
• Coordinate with internal teams on intercompany activities
• Perform other accounting duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
• Experience in AP, AR, GL, reconciliation and month-end closing
• Good knowledge of Singapore accounting and statutory requirements
• Experience with CPF and GST submissions is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Xero and/or Odoo is an advantage
• Experience handling multiple foreign currencies is preferred
• Strong organisational, analytical and time-management skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
