Accountant

About the role
Career International FOS Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Accountant to join our client on a full-time basis in the Central Region. This is a key position within the finance function, offering you the opportunity to play a vital role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making across the organisation. You will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial records, managing budgets, and providing meaningful insights to drive business performance.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the financial and statutory accounting for entity assigned.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, such as managing asset accounting, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating year-end financial reports.
• Analyse WIP and provide recommendation on project profitability and cost optimisation.
• Compute key financial indicators and provide trend analysis of financials.
• Assist in preparation of group annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Monitor gross profit margin by product group & region
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for filing on time.
• Handle tax matters including the quarterly GST filing and corporate tax.
• Coordinate with company secretaries on regulatory filings.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned and this may include review of policies and procedure.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications
• Preferably with construction experience
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Meticulous and able to work independently
• Well versed in English
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
