JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTANT

Job Purpose

To manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely reporting, and support the management in financial and statutory matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries, ledgers, cash and bank transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Prepare and verify invoices, receipts, payments and supporting documents.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for collections.
• Perform bank, cash and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly financial statements, MIS reports and management reports.
• Maintain proper records for GST, TDS and other statutory requirements and coordinate with consultants when required.
• Verify workshop/service-related billing and ensure proper accounting of parts, labour and other income.
• Coordinate with Service, Parts and Administration departments for accurate financial records.
• Support audits and ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all financial information.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience in automobile dealership/service-centre accounting is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel, GST and basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
