Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting activities and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions
• Prepare and record invoices and payments
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Maintain proper financial records and documents
• Assist with monthly financial reports
• Assist with VAT and other accounting requirements
• Check expenses and payment documents
• Assist with budgeting and cash flow monitoring
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding financial matters
• Support the Finance team with other accounting tasks as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CMA qualification is preferred
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT
• Experience with accounting software and MS Excel
• Good attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in trading, logistics, shipping, or project-based companies is an advantage
