Accountant

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dubai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording invoices, processing payments, and reconciling bank and cash accounts. Responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves monitoring accounts receivable and payable, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, and assisting with internal controls and audits. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management to provide accurate financial data, analyze variances, and support decision-making for the vacation homes portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and financial analysis tools.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations, manage accounts receivable and payable, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic auditing practices in the UAE.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Candidates who are fluent in Hindi and English and have relevant experience working in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, or property management is preferred but not mandatory.
