Accountant

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting management with accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor project costs, expenses, petty cash management and cash flow.
• Handle bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with VAT returns and UAE tax compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and clients.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience; UAE experience preferred.
• Construction/fit-out industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and TALLY accounting software/ERP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• ACCA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,794.78 per month
